How to use Holon Revisions

Course-wide page edit history for Canvas

Sync your course
Click Sync Now to pull every page’s edit history from Canvas. (No setup needed — access is handled automatically.)

Browse by page
Each page shows as a row with its edit count. Click Show edits to expand and see the full progression, oldest to newest.

See what changed
Click any edit to open it. Toggle Inline changes (exact words added/removed) or Side by side (the page before vs. after).

Filter & search
Use the left menu to filter by change type (text, title, images & video, links), or search by editor name and date range.

Save & revert
Click Save to Files to export a readable report to Canvas. Inside any edit you can Revert the live page to that version.

Connect to Canvas

A Canvas API token lets Holon Revisions read your course pages and revision history

In Canvas, go to Account → Settings

Scroll to Approved Integrations and click + New Access Token

Set purpose to "Holon Revisions" and click Generate Token

Copy and paste the token below

⚠ Canvas only shows your token once — save it somewhere safe
